Meet Debbie L. Cobb, MA, LPC, NCC, CCTPMy goal is to assist female survivors of physical, emotional, mental, and sexual trauma gain autonomy and reverse the symptoms of rejection, guilt, shame, and low self-esteem. I assist my clients with developing and implementing healthy coping skills in effort to decrease symptoms of trauma, anxiety, mental and emotional disturbances. I help my clients process the importance of developing healthy patterns of thought.
The most rewarding part of counseling for me is the therapeutic relationship that fosters an environment of trust, collaboration, and promotes a productive process of healing and recovery. I utilize multiple therapeutic approaches to include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Play, and Art therapies. My techniques are personalized for each individual client. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, GA. I am currently accepting new clients and I welcome the opportunity to support you in your journey. |
